Terms & Conditions

I can't say this enough. No delivery time is guaranteed. All delivery dates and times are only estimates of normal deliveries. Delays may occur. Transporter does not agree to transport shipment in time for any particular market or event and will not be responsible for loss or damages as a result of unavoidable delays. There are absolutely no guarantees made, expressed or implied, regarding delivery times or dates.

Quik-Shots operates 7 days a week, 7am - 7pm, while still adhering to the federal guidelines (www.fmcsa.dot.gov). To make the transition for both customer and driver as smooth as possible, I must have three contact names and phone numbers for each pickup and drop-off destination. This will ensure that neither party will have to wait. If you travel and are not be available for pickup or delivery, having someone to make the connection for you allows for the process to be completed in a timely manner. Another option would be to move the motorcycle or unit to another location.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Quik-Shots Motorcycle Transportation. is bonded and licensed with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and agrees to make all possible efforts to provide expedited transportation of said Unit(s) within the rules and laws set forth by the Department Of Transportation and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (www.fmcsa.dot.gov). Quik-Shots is authorized to operate and transport the Unit(s) between its pick up location and the destination set forth on this shipping order-bill of lading. Pick-up and delivery is door to door, unless residential area restrictions apply. (Unit refers to each individual vehicle). Customer is or represents, the legal owner of the Unit(s) listed, and has the authority to enter into this contract. This contract gives Quik-Shots permission to transport the Unit(s) listed.

There are absolutely no guarantees made, expressed or implied, regarding delivery times or dates.

Quik-Shots Motorcycle Transportation WILL NOT be held liable for the following:

1. Damage caused by leaking fluids, battery acids, cooling system antifreeze solution, rock chips, industrial fallout or any damages resulting from acts of God.
2. Parts or accessories that are loose, torn, brittle, or have extensive wear.
3. Articles or personal items stored inside the tour-packs, saddlebags, or compartments that are attached to or a part of the Unit. Insurance WILL NOT cover these items.
4. Any part of the Unit(s) that falls off in transit, including damage to any and all Units involved, caused by said part/fluid.
5. Faulty craftsmanship due to manufacturing defects (e.g. defects in factory Tie-downs) or damage that results to vehicle from the tie downs breaking or tearing.
6. Mechanical malfunctions, undercarriage, exhaust assembly, battery function, alignment, suspension, tuning of engine or for parts vibrating loose.
7. Damage to any Unit that cannot be driven on or off transporter under its own power. Brakes must be good working order. A service charge will be added to jump-start the Unit on or off the trailer.
8. Damage unable to detect due to Unit's dirty condition.
9. Windshields or plastics that crack due to previous existing chips or extreme weather changing conditions.
10. Damage to wheels and tires resulting from under inflated tires or the tires not having the ability to hold air.
11. Occasionally shipment delays may occur. They may include, but are not limited to: weather conditions, road construction, mechanical failures, customer demand / volume, shipment distance, inaccurate information provided by customer, non-responsive contacts at p/u or delivery, unavailable dates for p/u or delivery, seller has not been paid for Unit(s). NONE of the factors listed are considered the responsibility or fault of Quik-Shots.
12. The Transporter will not be responsible for any damage not resulting from transporter negligence.
The Unit(s) owner or customer will be responsible and liable for the following:


1. In their absence, the Unit owner/customer shall designate a person to act as their agent at the point of pick up and/or delivery
2. The customer agrees that this is the only contract between the parties governing this transport and no other agreement or contract is in effect.
3. The transporter will give ample notification to the customer prior to delivery. In return the customer agrees to meet the transport driver at any specified time and place. No exceptions.
4. At a minimum, the Unit must have air in the tires and be operable enough to be rolled onto the trailer.
5. A minimum service charge of $100 will be added if the Unit is found to be inoperable at the time of pickup and was not disclosed at the time the agreement was made. Units that are "in-op" need to be disclosed at the time of booking due to some carrier's not being equipped with the extra equipment needed to transport these types of Units.
6. If upon numerous attempts to make contact to schedule delivery by one or more contacts the carrier cannot make delivery of Unit(s); the Unit(s) will be taken to closest terminal, at the discretion of the driver. All COD's, terminal fees, storage fees, additional trucking fees, if any, would be due and payable to the Quik-Shots either in cash or credit card before release of Unit(s) to customer or customer representatives.
Quik-Shots will NOT accept any additional parts, boxes, bags, helmets, etc. temporarily attached to or along with the Unit(s), as these items may shift during transit and could damage your property as well as others. Quik-Shots expressly forbids Customer to transport illegal items, such as alcohol, tobacco, firearms, drugs, etc. Customer assumes all responsibility, legally as well as financially, for all actions taken against Quik-Shots in relationship to transportation of illegal items by the Customer, in Quik-Shots' Trailer.

All payments for transport must be in the form of cash or credit card. Fifty percent of total charges are required at the time order is placed to secure the reservation; the balance is due upon delivery. Cash or Credit Cards are the accepted forms of payment. 3% discount given on all cash transactions. . The customer agrees if the payment cannot be made at time of delivery, the Unit(s) will be stored at the customer's expense. Any and all storage and/or delivery or re-delivery charges will be the responsibility of the customer.

INSURANCE

The transporter has the primary insurance responsibility. All claims will be settled at actual cost. All claims for damage must be made to the transporter. Under no circumstances shall Quik-Shots be liable for damages to Customer's property, beyond available insurance proceeds, and/or beyond the fair market value of all Unit(s) listed. If Customer accepts additional insurance coverage for $40 per Unit, the Unit is covered against theft, fire and physical damage caused by vehicle collision or negligence by the transporter (excludes those items specifically outlined above in the Terms and Conditions). The additional insurance covers up to $15,000 Maximum. The vehicle owner may opt to add $5 for each additional $1000 worth of coverage up to $50,000 maximum. With this plan there is a $500 Insurance Deductible due at the time of claim, to be paid to Quik-Shots. If additional insurance coverage is declined, the bike/vehicle is insured for only fifty cents a pound, which is the standard shipping insurance rate against theft or damage not resulting from the excluded items listed above in the Terms & Conditions.

In the event that the customer decides to cancel their order it needs to be in writing. Upon receiving cancellation for the order this company is no longer obligated to arrange transport of the Unit(s). If a shipment is cancelled within 48 hours of the initial request, a cancellation fee of $25 to be charged to cover processing fees. After that time, or if the truck is in route to contracted pick up point when customer cancels, customer looses full deposit, No Exceptions! Quik-Shots has the right to cancel at anytime for any reason.

Quik-Shots Transportation will not and cannot be held responsible in any way for damages after departure from delivery of the. Customer understands and agrees to identify any alleged damage to the driver and document such at time of delivery, otherwise Quik-Shots WILL NOT acknowledge or consider Customer's claim for submission to the insurance company. Any and all damage must be noted on the front of the "Bill of Lading" document at the time of delivery. Under no condition will a damage claim be honored if damage is not noted on the "Bill Of Lading" at the time of delivery. All claims must be made in writing within 15 days of delivery with a statement of specific damages claimed. All claims, subrogation, litigation, or legal action must have right of venue in the state of Oklahoma, in Tulsa County. All claims will be settled at actual cost. If any provision or part of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, all other parts of this agreement remain in effect. Address all claims to:
