Frequently Asked Questions
Does my motorcycle have to be operable?
All motorcycles must have tires aired and be able to roll or push onto trailer, if not able to start and drive on. No Exceptions!
Can You Ship My Motorcycle or ATV anywhere ?
I can haul your motorcycle anywhere in or close to my run area. If in doubt, contact me to discuss.
Do you move salvaged bikes?
I prefer not to.
Is my investment secure?
My trailer is an enclosed, custom designed trailer for motorcycles and ATV's. Your bike will not be exposed to the elements. I use soft-ties to secure your bike to the trailer and I cover it. I have invested in specialized wheel locks so my trailer cannot be stolen. To reiterate, I am transporting your investment as if it were my own.
Do you actually move my bike or is it a third-party?
I do the actual pickup and delivery. I am owner and operator. I am NOT a broker. At this moment I do not have an east coast connection; however, I will soon.
Is my investment insured?
The transporter has the primary insurance responsibility. The Customer can accept additional insurance coverage for $40 per Unit. The Unit is covered against theft, fire and physical damage caused by vehicle collision or negligence by the transporter (excludes those items specifically outlined in the Terms and Conditions). The additional insurance covers up to $15,000 Maximum. The vehicle owner may opt to add $5 for each additional $1000 worth of coverage up to $50,000 maximum. With this plan there is a $500 Insurance Deductible due at the time of claim, to be paid to Quik-Shots. If additional insurance coverage is declined, the bike/vehicle is insured for only fifty cents a pound, which is the standard shipping insurance rate against theft or damage not resulting from the excluded items listed in the Terms & Conditions.
Where do you deliver to?
I deliver to residential or business, as long as my truck and trailer can safely access your address. My truck/trailer requirements are: If I do not feel it is safe, I will not go into your area. I have the final say-so... NO EXCEPTIONS! If you believe I may not be able to get to your location safely, please discuss it when you book your shipment, or agree to a meeting place as close as possible to your location.
What do I need to have, to Schedule a Motorcycle shipment?
You need the motorcycle/ATV specifics (to include the VIN), the pickup and delivery address and contact information. The more information you give me, the better. When you call I will require a 50% deposit to reserve your spot on the next available transport cycle (loop). This must be secured via PayPal or a credit card only. Nothing is scheduled until I receive your deposit. The balance of the payment is due on delivery and can be paid by either cash or credit card.
When Can I Expect My Motorcycle?
I am fully aware that you are excited to receive you new investment. I will do all that I can to get your bike to you quickly and safely. Keep in mind that there are many outside factors that control and determine this (weather, Federal DOT regulations and where in the cycle you made the arrangements). I will do my best to give you an accurate estimate date of delivery or pickup. No pick up or delivery dates are guaranteed what so ever. I can only approximate due to changing schedules, traffic, road construction, weather conditions or the dreaded mechanical failure over which I have no control. Schedule well in advance if you need the bike by a certain date. You will always be able to reach me and discuss with me the status. If I am with another customer when you call, I will return your call promptly.
Do I have to drain the fluids from my motorcycle?
You do not need to drain your fluids from your motorcycle or ATV. The bike or ATV is ready to roll upon delivery. Some older bikes do not have good gas cap seals. I strongly recommend the seals be checked prior to transport or drain the gasoline to be safe.
Can I ship extra parts?
Please discuss prior to securing transport. Any paperwork, keys, boxes, or spare parts should generally be shipped separately. Saddlebags and windshields can stay on the bike and helmets may be shipped as long as they are securely strapped to the bike. Just make sure that it is noted on the inventory sheet that a helmet is attached to the bike.
Should I tip the Driver?
Do you tip other service industry individuals? If you are pleased with the service you have received, why not?
What if I decide to cancel my motorcycle shipment?
If you cancel within 48-hours upon making reservation - $25.00 processing fee. 49+ hours upon making reservations: once your motorcycle or ATV transport has been reserved, I cannot reserve that "spot". Any shipment booked or scheduled, and then cancelled, for ANY reason, will be subject to a cancellation fee of $100. If the truck is already in transport route and you should choose to cancel, you will lose the full deposit, regardless of reason.
Will the condition of my bike be noted?
Upon receipt of the bike, I will note the condition of the bike. Any damage that is found at the time of delivery will be noted on the inventory sheet and signed for. If the damage is not noted at the time of delivery, I will not be held responsible for damages and all claims will be denied.
How can I pay for shipping?
Half of the payment is required to book a shipment. The initial deposit must be secured by VISA/MasterCard or Discover.
Will I be notified before the pick-up and/or delivery?

Can I have the bike picked up and delivered to a residence?

Can I have the bike picked up and delivered to a business?
